We are seeking a Group Director, Business Innovations to lead our government sector business, combining deep experience in both Business Development (BD) and Business Innovations (BI). This role will be responsible for growing our government client portfolio while managing and expanding key relationships across multiple federal, state, and local government agencies. As the account lead, you will strategically guide our business development efforts and ensure the innovative application of our digital solutions to meet the unique needs of government clients. Responsibilities Business Development (Government Sector Focus): Lead and grow our government client portfolio by identifying new business opportunities through leveraging CourtAvenue's GSA certification and digital marketing expertise. Oversee the preparation and submission of responses to GSA RFPs, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Build strategic relationships with government agencies, departments, and stakeholders, driving new business opportunities and long-term partnerships. Stay up-to-date with government regulations, compliance, procurement processes, and emerging digital marketing technologies relevant to the public sector. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities within the government sector. Account Leadership (Business Innovations): Serve as the strategic leader and point of contact for government clients, driving the success of digital transformation initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding government clients' specific business challenges and leading the development of innovative solutions tailored to their needs. Build and foster strong relationships both internally and externally, connecting cross-functional teams within CourtAvenue (strategy, data, creative, tech, and operations) to deliver outstanding client results. Bring a forward-thinking, growth-oriented mindset to every client engagement, identifying ways to expand our partnerships through innovative strategies and new offerings. Guide the execution of client strategies and ensure all project goals, objectives, and timelines are met. Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in account management or business development, with at least 3 years working directly with government sector clients. Proven track record of growing and managing government contracts, with a deep understanding of GSA processes and RFP responses. Agency experience is required, demonstrating a strong ability to manage multiple client relationships and collaborate across teams. Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with experience in building relationships and driving results with senior-level stakeholders. Strong business acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and implement actionable strategies for clients. Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment and maintain high-quality client service across multiple touchpoints. Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, digital transformation, and government sector trends. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite. Military service is a plus. $150,000 - $175,000 a year The Group Director will have a base salary, based on experience, plus commission. Commission: 1.5% for Net New Biz directly sourced by Employee 0.75% for Net New Biz indirectly sourced by Employee Why CourtAvenue?
