About the position
The Group Exercise Instructor at CLUB 24 LLC is responsible for planning, instructing, and leading group exercise programs for members. This part-time position requires the instructor to ensure the proper maintenance of fitness equipment, demonstrate exercise techniques, and provide excellent customer service to promote member engagement and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and instruct group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
- Maintain order and control over participants during classes.
- Secure and maintain fitness and audio equipment to ensure longevity.
- Ensure the safety of all participants and prevent potential liabilities.
- Document class attendance and membership type through printed tickets.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote group exercise activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of studios and equipment.
- Attend group fitness meetings as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of supervisory experience in a fitness setting.
- Certifications in specific group exercise programming (e.g., Les Mills certifications).
- CPR/AED Certification and First Aid Certification.
- Strong customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Solid work ethic with strong decision-making skills.
