About the position

The Group Home Manager/QP (Qualified Professional) at Easterseals PORT Health is responsible for guiding support services for clients with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges in a residential setting. Responsibilities

• Guide clients and their families in collaboration with MCOs to set personal plans for daily living and social needs.
• Coordinate the schedules of Caregivers/Direct Service Providers (DSPs).
• Provide supervision and performance feedback for DSPs.
• Ensure all training requirements for DSPs are met.
• Promote team and employee interactions and communications.
• Monitor progress and client outcomes against plans to ensure enjoyable and meaningful days.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting to ensure government compliance requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field.
• Two years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised mental health/developmental disabilities or substance abuse experience with the population served.
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
