About the position

The Group Home Program Manager at Penn Residential, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the delivery of residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a single-home setting. This role focuses on achieving independence, growth, and happiness for residents through high-quality, creative services. The manager supervises Direct Support Professionals, ensures adherence to regulations, and enforces policies and procedures to maintain the health, safety, and welfare of individuals in care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of programs to ensure the health, safety, welfare, and personal development of individuals.
• Oversee service and planning for individuals, ensuring that outcomes in their individual support plans are implemented.
• Oversee the development of the home's employees and ensure regular meetings are held relating to the care of individuals.
• Represent Penn Residential, Inc. with individuals from the community, parents, and other human service agencies.
• Work approximately 36 hours per week of direct care.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Chapters 3800 or 6400 regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
