About the position

The Group IT Director at Moog Inc. is responsible for overseeing the IT vision, strategy, and leadership for all Commercial Aircraft Divisions and sites. This role involves serving as a liaison between the Commercial Aircraft Group and Corporate IT, ensuring successful service delivery and enhancing the end-user experience of enterprise IT services. The director will lead the IT organization to be a key enabler of business operations, focusing on innovative solutions and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT vision, strategy, and leadership for all Group businesses and sites.
• Serve as liaison between Commercial Aircraft Group and Corporate IT to ensure successful service delivery execution and end user experience of enterprise IT services.
• Ensure smooth execution of all corporate transformational initiatives (e.g. SAP, PLM, etc.).
• Partner with Group, Division, and Functional leadership to understand business strategies and needs and build IT solutions and roadmaps to support those.
• Mature the IT organization to maximize operational efficiencies and drive business value.
• Spearhead business intelligence initiatives to drive better decision making.
• Manage, lead, and develop the Commercial Aircraft Group IT team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum ten (10) years of professional IT experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum five (5) years leading teams and being involved in strategic decision making.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and capturing value from advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, digital manufacturing, and/or other significant technology trends.
• Strong Business & Financial acumen.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others.
