About the position

The HR Solutions IT Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR applications and the successful delivery of projects. This position focuses on the interoperability between HR applications and other satellite systems or services, including SaaS, tax authorities, payroll, and social security. The analyst acts as the primary IT contact for HR functional units, collaborating closely with process owners and key users to provide application support, manage change requests, and implement enhancements based on new process requirements. In this role, the analyst is responsible for driving proactive and continuous process improvement in the usage and functionality of HR applications. This involves integrating business and process functions to ensure seamless interoperability between various applications and systems, such as Payroll, SuccessFactors, and ERP. The analyst will work closely with other application teams to facilitate this integration and ensure that all systems work together effectively. Additionally, the HR Solutions IT Analyst will assist in monitoring and controlling sourced or shared services, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and managing cost allocations in alignment with other IT support functions. The role also includes supporting changes, resolving incidents, and managing projects to ensure the best cost and value outcomes. The analyst will lead and assist with projects of varying sizes, collaborating with both internal and external team members, and guiding external consultants on support cases and projects to ensure optimal results.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the IT contact for HR functional units and their process owners and key users regarding application support, change requests, enhancements, and new process requirements.
  • Ensure proactive, continuous process improvement for HR application usage and functions.
  • Integrate business and process functions providing interoperability between applications and systems (Payroll, SuccessFactors, ERP, etc.) by working closely with other application teams.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling of sourced or shared services regarding service-level agreement (SLA) fulfilment and cost allocations in alignment with the other IT support functions.
  • Support changes, incident resolution, and projects to ensure best cost and best value.
  • Lead and assist with projects of various sizes with internal and external team members.
  • Guide external consultants on support cases and projects while ensuring best cost & best value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • HR business process and operations experience.
  • Profound knowledge of HR systems and modules such as payroll, time and attendance, etc., and their integration with HR and non-HR satellite systems.
  • Deep knowledge of integration and interfaces of HR applications to external systems or services and their support (e.g., to authorities like tax, social security, insurance, health, etc.).
  • Experience in payroll/time management, role design, and authorizations.
  • Expertise in computer systems (applications and technology) or comparable experience analyzing business process requirements and specifying workable solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three (3) years of experience in supporting and consulting HR applications.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry and in international projects as a team member or project lead.
  • Confident self-starter with effective client-facing communication and rapport-building skills to ensure results in a cross-functional and multi-stakeholder organization.
  • Ability to take ownership of the resolution of incidents and fulfillment of service requests.
  • Team-player, flexible regarding traveling.
