This position is contingent on contract award to CAE USA Inc. in January 2025. The Group Lead for Instructional Systems Design at CAE Inc. will provide managerial oversight of the Instructional Systems team located at McConnell AFB, KS. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the integrity of all released Instructional Systems Design (ISD) materials for proposal and program execution purposes. The Group Lead will oversee and support the development of proposal processes and deliverables, including solution development for ISD and courseware, as well as associated proposal narratives with input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This role also involves overseeing the design and development of ISD deliverables, such as Task Lists, Objective Hierarchies, and syllabi, ensuring that corresponding course materials, including graphics and media support, are developed to achieve intended learning outcomes. The Group Lead will establish and maintain professional relationships with both prospective and current customers, ensuring that the ISD department adheres to applicable proposal, contract, and ISD processes in accordance with customer requirements for ISD deliverables. The essential duties include leading a small Instructional Systems team, managing the development and review of proposal and program course materials, and ensuring that appropriate instructional methods and assessment tools are utilized. The Group Lead will also manage on-site staffing levels, employee knowledge and skill inventory, and department training to meet current and projected program requirements. This position requires attendance at ISD-related customer interface and internal meetings, generating necessary materials or slides for presentations, and ensuring traceability on all ISD documentation in accordance with established Quality Management System (QMS). Additionally, the Group Lead will consult with customers on performance management and instructional strategies, interface with project managers, and manage continual improvement in the department by designing and improving learning tools and processes.
