About the position

The Group Manager Logistics I at Ryder is responsible for managing the financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple accounts. This role focuses on the profitable retention and growth of business while ensuring that financial, employee, safety, and customer satisfaction goals are met. The position involves setting goals, assessing skills, providing ongoing feedback, and developing direct and indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple accounts.
• Set goals and conduct performance evaluations for employees.
• Provide ongoing employee feedback and maintain corrective staffing levels.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve problems effectively.
• Review KPI tracking and implement improvements.
• Conduct self-audits of location processes and individual accountabilities.
• Manage SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or two additional years of relevant work experience.
• Five years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Five years or more managing large multi-level teams.
• Three years or more demonstrated experience in developing and implementing logistics solutions.
• One year or more customer interaction experience.

• Master's degree in a related field.
