About the position

As a Group Manager for Loyalty Marketing at Starbucks, you will oversee the marketing campaigns and member experiences for the Starbucks Rewards loyalty program, which has a growing membership base of over 30 million. Your role will involve leading the growth of the program by enhancing customer engagement and retention strategies, while managing a team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute effective marketing tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Own the holistic Starbucks Rewards member experience and customer journey; identify the next generation approach to drive member engagement of Starbucks Rewards
  • Lead the loyalty marketing team and other cross-functional teams to develop loyalty marketing strategy and campaigns for Starbucks Rewards members
  • Lead campaign strategy and development, architect master briefs, and lead direct team of partners and large cross-functional group of partners and external agencies to execute on loyalty marketing tactics and plans across digital and in-store
  • Manage the loyalty P&L via marketing program execution and budget management

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in managing loyalty programs or customer and digital marketing (10+ years)
  • Progressive leadership experience in a cross-functional environment (10+ years)
  • Experience managing complex and ambiguous business problems and developing strategic marketing solutions with demonstrated ability to drive shared goals and outcomes
  • Experience in financial forecasting, business case development and P&L management
  • Experience with agency and vendor management
  • Experience managing others (5+ years)
