About the position

As a Group Manager/Sr. Manager in Organizational Change Management (OCM) at Avanade, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys. This position requires a blend of technical skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively address the unique needs of each client. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements in depth and working closely with them from the initial stages of engagement through to successful implementation. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing experiences for various stakeholders, including air travelers and non-profit organizations serving children in need. This advisory role is not just about managing change; it’s about creating meaningful impacts that resonate with clients and their customers. In this position, you will leverage your extensive experience in organizational change to lead initiatives that maximize effectiveness while mitigating risks. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, positioning yourself and Avanade as a trusted advisor. Your expertise will be crucial in orchestrating change strategies and plans for large-scale technology projects, ensuring that communication and training strategies are effectively executed to prepare individuals for success. You will also contribute to the internal capabilities of Avanade’s OCM practice by sharing insights, mentoring junior colleagues, and crafting compelling proposals that highlight the value of organizational change management. The ideal candidate will possess a consultative approach, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in complex environments. You will be intellectually curious, passionate about technology, and skilled in storytelling and content creation, enabling you to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Your role will not only focus on client engagements but also on fostering a culture of learning and development within the organization, ensuring that the OCM practice continues to evolve and thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational design initiatives to maximize effectiveness and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships, positioning the organization as a 'Trusted Advisor'.
  • Develop and orchestrate change strategies and plans for large-scale technology projects and programs.
  • Create guidelines and enforce procedures and standards related to content development and implementation.
  • Develop and execute effective communication strategies to support change initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver strategic training plans to prepare individuals for success during transformational changes.
  • Lead clients through transformational change, aligning with their business priorities.
  • Contribute to the internal capability of Avanade's OCM practice by sharing learnings, developing content, mentoring junior colleagues, and crafting compelling proposal responses.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a client-facing Organizational Change role with digital transformation and technical & functional project experience.
  • Prior experience with ERP/CRM Transformation is required.
  • Previous consulting experience from a Big 4 consulting firm (i.e., EY, PwC, Deloitte, or KPMG).
  • Experience working in cross-functional and complex, highly matrixed teams.
  • Experience in leading pursuits and justifying the organizational change value proposition for engagements with both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to be flexible, demonstrate critical thinking, and work effectively in fluid, complex environments.
  • Experience in coaching and developing junior talent.
  • Expert in the Microsoft Office product suite.
