About the position

The Group Marketing Manager for LUX-Dx at Boston Scientific is responsible for setting the strategic direction and business objectives for the product lines. This role involves developing a high-performing marketing team and managing the formulation and execution of comprehensive business plans to achieve these objectives, with oversight from the Director level. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence at least three days a week in Arden Hills, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Build a high-performance marketing team; recruiting, selecting, training and developing top marketing talent.
  • Ensure alignment of direct reports' annual performance objectives and support individual development plans with Director-level oversight.
  • Set strategic direction for the business and formulate actionable, comprehensive business plans.
  • Oversee the execution of business plans through appropriate strategies, tactics and action plans.
  • Develop annual operational budget for the business and ensure the availability of resources required for plan execution.
  • Direct team's utilization of marketing science tools and methodologies for market analysis.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend franchise business development opportunities.
  • Foster a 'never arrive' mindset among team members to ensure a continuous improvement approach to the business.
  • Leverage industry, market, clinical and cross-functional experience to remove obstacles and solve project issues.
  • Develop personal and facilitate team's development of relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree required (Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical).
  • Minimum of 7 years of medical device or pharmaceutical marketing experience.
  • Experience planning and managing product launches.
  • Track record of success leading cross-functionally and with global partners to develop plans, strategies, and tools to maximize sales potential.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and giving presentations to internal and external customers.
