About the position

Octave is seeking to partner with group practices to provide high-quality behavioral health care both in-person and remotely. The role involves collaborating with group practice owners to build a diverse clinical team focused on client-centered therapy. Clinicians will deliver therapy via video sessions and in-person, addressing mental health concerns such as stress, depression, and anxiety using evidence-based therapies. The position emphasizes strong clinical thinking and culturally responsive care, ensuring customized treatment plans for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy via video sessions and in-person for adult clients.
  • Utilize short-term, evidence-based therapies such as CBT or DBT.
  • Develop customized mental health treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with a diverse clinical team to enhance client care.
  • Maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Deliver feedback-informed care using standardized measures.

Requirements

  • Current LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD license in California.
  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of related post-license clinical experience required.
  • Expertise in evidence-based therapies such as CBT or DBT.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Cigna & Aetna clients.
  • At least 2 years of experience in CBT for depression or anxiety, DBT for emotion dysregulation, or trauma-focused therapies.
