About the position

The Group Product Design Manager at Intuit will lead the TurboTax Live Assisted team in creating innovative user experiences that simplify complex financial situations for customers. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, collaboration, and the ability to translate visions into actionable designs across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will advocate for design system adoption and facilitate partnerships between design and development teams to ensure cohesive implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technological realities.
• Influence a broad audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal leaders, partners, and customers.
• Bring a bold vision and design strategy to life across multiple areas in the ecosystem.
• Translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity.
• Deliver user experience visions, specifications, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Drive the best outcomes for multiple stakeholders using facilitative leadership skills.
• Collaborate closely with brand and product design teams to design components and patterns.
• Assist in defining the company-wide design system for Generative AI.
• Advocate for design system adoption and act as a subject matter expert for other designers and developers.
• Facilitate strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure cohesion across design and code implementation.
• Define and improve collaboration and processes across business units to enhance speed and quality of delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, deliverables, and customer experiences.
• Balance long-term considerations with continuous shipping, iterating, and evolving the design system.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience; graduate degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of interface design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile, or award-winning products across multiple platforms.
• Expert knowledge of user-centered design processes and experience working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research.
• Experience in Agile development processes and working on technically complex initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, and design principles.
• Proven track record in setting a vision for customer experiences and delivering products known for their delightful experience and ease of use.
• Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams through facilitative leadership.
• Organized, self-directed, and efficient in managing multiple complex projects in a timely manner.
• Passion for creating emotionally resonant products.
