About the position

The Group Product Director (GPD) for Professional Promotion Marketing in Lung Cancer at Johnson & Johnson is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for RYBREVANT® and LAZCLUZE®. This position plays a critical part in the U.S. Lung marketing team, overseeing a team and collaborating with various functions to ensure successful product launches and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of short- and long-term professional marketing strategies and tactics for RYBREVANT® and LAZCLUZE® therapy.
  • Secure success of 2024/2025 launches.
  • Lead, partner, and share insights with business partners to ensure strong collaboration and ideation for asset development.
  • Manage professional agency of record and other specialty agencies to implement HCP tactics and training.
  • Lead media and digital strategy and asset creation for HCP audience, including launching core JET/DEP assets.
  • Manage budget, including all aspects of agency and media spend.
  • Partner with market research, competitive intelligence, and analytics to deepen key insights for the brand.
  • Coordinate promotional activities with sales leadership and deliver strategic content for field meetings.
  • Partner with Sales Training on product training requirements and execution to the field.
  • Support franchise team cross-functional initiatives, including agile marketing.
  • Partner with legal, medical, regulatory & HCC to support team in approval of marketing materials.
  • Oversee tactical execution of direct reports; provide coaching, development, and day-to-day management of direct reports.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years business experience, with 5 years in Pharma marketing success and proven performance.
  • Demonstrated in-line marketing experience and success is required.
  • Oncology/Lung experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated people management experience is required.
  • Sales and/or Sales leadership experience is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and challenge the status quo.
  • Strong verbal, written and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
