About the position

The Product Group Manager role within the Digital Innovation & Strategy team focuses on digitally enabling customers and colleagues by leveraging technology to enhance product roadmaps and simplify purchasing processes. This position involves collaboration across various customer segments to identify opportunities for business performance improvement, conducting research and development of new concepts, and tactical implementation. The manager will be responsible for strategic ownership and achieving financial targets while driving product innovation and digital enablement across consumer and business banking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on financial and strategic outcomes for the Consumer & Regional Bank Partner across all product areas.
  • Drive the development and business casing of digital enablement concepts for prioritization and execution.
  • Support the digital delivery strategy execution with an emphasis on product innovation and holistic financial advice.
  • Develop and vet potential concepts for investment in collaboration with business stakeholders and digital experience owners.
  • Build business cases to quantify benefits and rationalize investments through analytics and research.
  • Track KPIs and financial performance of approved investments against business case expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing execution of concept portfolio to ensure alignment with economic and strategic principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing, product management, or related experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of Banking, Finance, or Investment experience
  • Strong knowledge about deposit, lending, and/or investment products
  • Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or other Business Relevant Master's Degree
  • Product management experience in financial services
  • Progress toward a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
  • History of leveraging data, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to build business cases
  • Hands-on experience with pricing strategy and concepts of demand elasticity
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and working experience in data manipulation tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Business Objects.
