About the position

As the Group Product Manager for Growth Marketing & CRM at Tinder, you will play a pivotal role in leading lifecycle and engagement strategies across all areas of the platform. This position is designed for a lifecycle marketing expert who is passionate about enhancing user experiences and driving member engagement. You will be responsible for developing creative initiatives that improve CRM efforts, ensuring that our messaging resonates with users in various markets. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product, marketing, and executive leadership teams to align on strategic goals and initiatives. You will also manage a team of Engagement Operations Managers and Product Managers, guiding them in executing user growth, revenue growth, and retention tasks effectively. In this dynamic environment, you will leverage Tinder's proprietary CRM tool to communicate with millions of users worldwide, driving engagement through personalized marketing strategies. You will lead product management initiatives related to machine learning (ML) CRM personalization workstreams, ensuring that our CRM platform evolves to meet the needs of our diverse user base. Your ability to build alignment with cross-functional partners, including product teams, engineers, marketers, analysts, content writers, and designers, will be crucial in informing the strategic development of our CRM platform. The User Growth team at Tinder is dedicated to refining how we communicate with our users, and you will have the opportunity to influence this process significantly. With a focus on testing and learning, you will oversee numerous A/B tests and projects, ensuring that we prioritize high-impact tasks and campaigns. This role is not just about managing a team; it's about being a visionary leader who can break down large-scale marketing tactics into actionable strategies that drive growth and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lifecycle and engagement across all areas of Tinder.
  • Develop creative initiatives to improve CRM efforts for the team and product.
  • Learn about brand strategy and engagement operations to aid in international growth decisions.
  • Partner with team members to deliver high-quality, engaging, localized content.
  • Lead your team to execute CRM user growth, revenue growth, and retention tasks.
  • Leverage a robust, homegrown CRM tool to impact engagement and communicate with millions of users worldwide.
  • Lead PM initiatives related to ML CRM personalization workstreams.
  • Build alignment with cross-functional partners: product, engineers, marketers, analysts, content writers, and designers.
  • Inform strategic development of Tinder's proprietary CRM platform with our Tools PMs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading CRM and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques to drive impact through the personalization of CRM, marketing, or other growth levers.
  • Strong communication skills, empathetic to member needs and internal teammate needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to implement initiatives across multiple functions.
  • Exceptional analytics skills to navigate complex data sets and provide actionable insights related to CRM performance and user segmentation.
  • Ability to break down large-scale marketing tactics into impactful strategic milestones.
  • Excellent decision-making skills for key strategic growth initiatives.
