About the position

The Group Risk Specialist role within Treasury and Finance focuses on Operational Risk Management (ORM). This position provides a comprehensive range of risk management expertise to business leaders, leading the implementation of risk frameworks and management activities to mitigate enterprise-wide risk exposures. The specialist will work autonomously, manage complex programs, and influence senior stakeholders while ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk management expertise to business leaders and support the implementation of risk frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional teams to manage complex risk-related projects and programs.
• Analyze potential risks and escalate key risks to appropriate areas for executive review.
• Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators and facilitate communication of risk issues across business segments.
• Conduct internal and external research projects and support the development of presentations for management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external requirements and manage correspondence with discretion.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and/or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of risk management governance, programs, policies, and practices.
• Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities.
• Advanced skill in using analytical software tools and data analysis methods.
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Treasury Operational experience including Liquidity and Investments.
• Knowledge of Treasury Service products and credit/risk processes.
