About the position

The Group Sales Manager at Wichita Wind Surge is responsible for developing and executing the group ticketing strategy to achieve sales and attendance goals. This role involves managing new season ticket sales, hospitality packages, and group events while providing exceptional customer service and fostering relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement group ticket sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Meet and exceed established sales goals on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Conduct outbound sales efforts including prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Generate a minimum number of weekly face-to-face meetings to create new business opportunities.
  • Provide superior customer service to suite clients, season ticket holders, and new business prospects.
  • Create and implement unique sales strategies and programs to generate new business.
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Model and reinforce the organization's expectations of professionalism and work ethic.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of prior outbound sports sales experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
  • Basic computer skills and project management abilities.
