About the position

The Group Sales Manager at Sanctuary Beach Resort is a remote/hybrid role focused on driving revenue growth by engaging with prospective clients in the Silicon Valley area. This position involves generating new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers in the technology sector, and managing a sales territory effectively. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking events.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at target companies, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Conduct compelling online and in-person presentations to showcase the value of our products/services.
  • Effectively manage your assigned territory within Silicon Valley, prioritizing accounts and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system Delphi.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, eCommerce, Social Media, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Achieve quarterly/annual production goals and hotel revenue goals as agreed upon and established in the annual budget.
  • Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer requirements.
  • Articulate and leverage the features and benefits of the resort to close sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Silicon Valley tech landscape, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Proactive and self-driven approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and present effectively.
  • Experience working remotely and managing time effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, video conferencing tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
