Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day, monthly, and year-end tax operations.
• Calculate and prepare estimated and extension income tax payments.
• Compile pro-forma federal income tax returns for a consolidated tax group, including international forms.
• Update and maintain tax provisional schedules.
• Review and assess property tax assessments, preparing annual property tax returns.
• Prepare annual informational returns and ensure clear, concise documentation.
• Respond to federal and state income tax notices and inquiries.
• Assist with federal and state income tax audits.
• Research tax issues, developing recommendations and resolutions.
• Contribute to special projects, potentially involving transfer pricing and other key reporting areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or a similar environment.
• Proven experience with tax returns and audit compilations.
• Proficient in accounting, analytical tasks, and audit software.
• Strong skills in Excel and Word.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CorpTax, SAGE, or similar software.
