About the position
The Group Trainer/Class Instructor at Anytime Fitness in Roselle, IL, is responsible for delivering energetic and effective small group training sessions while also providing personalized coaching to clients. This part-time role focuses on helping members achieve their fitness goals through engaging classes, nutrition guidance, and recovery support in a fun and motivating environment. The instructor will also contribute to the growth of the personal training department and ensure a clean and welcoming facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, pre-programmed group workouts energetically and safely.
- Educate clients on safe and effective training regimens and provide nutrition guidance.
- Drive client success through attendance tracking and engagement.
- Administer body scan technology and interpret results.
- Provide excellent customer service and client accountability.
- Achieve monthly personal training revenue goals established by management.
- Promote membership growth alongside the sales team.
- Attend weekly/monthly team meetings.
- Ensure facility cleanliness and tidiness.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continued education and career development.
Requirements
- Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification (current or earned within first 60 days of employment; ACE, NASM, ISSA, or NPTI preferred)
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified (current or earned within first 60 days of employment)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of fitness, endurance training, strength/power training, and program design
- Strong ability to coach and manage time in a group setting
- Ability to work with clients of various abilities and goals
- Comfortable delivering coaching services virtually through in-app messaging and video chatting
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Flexible schedule, including days and weekends.
