About the position

The Groups Director at Union Church is responsible for cultivating intentional community opportunities that help individuals find freedom and support through connection. This role involves recruiting and training group leaders, establishing a coaching structure, and managing pastoral care administration at the campus level. The Groups Director will be a visible leader, executing the church's vision and promoting discipleship through various groups.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and create opportunities for community and connection among individuals.
• Recruit and train group leaders to enhance group dynamics.
• Create a scalable coaching structure for group leaders.
• Lead the pastoral care administration at the campus.
• Oversee all group leaders, structures, and tracking metrics for group health.
• Identify opportunities to integrate groups into all aspects of church activities.
• Develop and implement standard operating systems and cultural expectations for the area overseen.
