As a Frontend Web Developer at GrowthDay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the world’s leading system for self-improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code that adheres to best practices and industry standards. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the product team throughout the development process to ensure exceptional user experiences. You will conduct thorough testing and debugging of Next.js applications, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and security. Additionally, you will identify and address performance and scalability issues within the applications, iterating on best practices to enhance the quality and speed of deployments, particularly with MUI components. Your journey will also involve facilitating knowledge sharing across the engineering team to sustain and improve processes related to the Next.js stack. Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing web applications using Next.js, ReactQuery, and MUI.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code that adheres to best practices and industry standards for Next.js and ReactQuery development.
• Collaborating with the product team throughout the development process to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging of Next.js applications, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and security.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and product managers, to gather and refine requirements that align with business objectives and client needs.
• Identifying and addressing performance and scalability issues within Next.js and ReactQuery applications.
• Iterating on best practices to enhance the quality and speed of deployments, particularly with MUI components.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing across the engineering team to sustain and improve processes related to the Next.js stack.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Frontend Web development, specializing in Next.js and ReactQuery.
• Based in the US, preferably on the West Coast.
• Experience working with US and Overseas teams.
• 2+ years of experience within a SaaS startup environment.
• Well-versed in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Expert in creating dynamic, high-performance web applications using MUI.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
• Intense level of innovation and curiosity for building new things.
• Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
