About the position

The Growth Manager (SEM) at Verkada is responsible for driving customer acquisition and growth through strategic search and display marketing campaigns on platforms like Google and Bing. This role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, requiring the manager to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns to meet business objectives. The position is part of a highly selective digital marketing team focused on innovation and experimentation in marketing tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive search & display marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition across Google and Bing search campaigns and display/YouTube campaigns
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize strategies for maximum ROI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital marketing strategies with overall business goals
  • Drive innovation and experimentation in digital marketing tactics to stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new growth opportunities while constantly A/B testing ad copy and landing pages
  • Report on campaign performance and strategic insights to senior management, providing actionable recommendations for future initiatives

Requirements

  • 4-year undergraduate degree (quantitative field of study strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Search PPC digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful customer acquisition strategies
  • Strong quantitative background, with experience using data and metrics to inform marketing decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with digital marketing automation and CRM tools preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in analytics tools preferred (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL)
  • Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and growth hacking
