About the position

The Growth Market Account Executive at Paylocity is responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new sales agreements for small businesses with up to 50 employees. This role requires a consultative sales approach, exceptional prospecting skills, and the ability to work independently in a competitive, quota-driven environment. The position is part of the Sales & Marketing team, focusing on understanding client needs and delivering tailored HR technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new sales agreements for small businesses with up to 50 employees.
  • Identify and understand prospective customers' needs for HR technology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to tailor solutions for clients.
  • Execute a consistent sales process to drive revenue.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technology or HR-related field.
  • Strong prospecting and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
