About the position

As a Growth Marketing Manager at EQL, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the company's growth over a six-month contract period. EQL is on a mission to revolutionize commerce for passionate fans and brands, and your expertise will be crucial in driving this vision forward. The ideal candidate for this position is data-driven and possesses a deep understanding of the business landscape, enabling them to confidently execute growth strategies aimed at increasing the sales pipeline, particularly with a defined list of Strategic Accounts. In this role, you will be expected to integrate seamlessly into the EQL team, dedicating 3-4 days per week to driving initiatives, participating in meetings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include managing experimentation across various channels, such as paid, earned, and owned media, which encompasses ads, email marketing, and website optimization. You will utilize tools like Zapier and HubSpot to analyze key metrics and work closely with content and product teams to implement strategic growth initiatives. Your contributions will not only focus on immediate growth but also on establishing a foundation for sustainable marketing practices that align with EQL's mission. You will become the expert on growth marketing within the organization, conducting audits of current performance and creating priority growth initiatives that will enhance the overall marketing strategy. This position offers a competitive pay range of approximately $70-90 USD per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Become the expert on growth marketing within EQL, conducting audits of current performance, and creating and owning priority growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across multiple channels including email, website, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Integrate into the EQL team, building relationships with cross-functional teams to execute growth experiments and strategies across the business.
  • Increase inbound activity through digital marketing strategies, including optimizing website landing pages, paid media, and conversion forms.
  • Manage and optimize email nurture programs for both leads and deals, ensuring consistent, on-brand email design and messaging.
  • Plan and execute digital ad campaigns, including retargeting, while analyzing performance metrics to optimize and improve lead generation and engagement.
  • Report on marketing initiatives using our suite of tools, and collaborate with the data team to develop dashboards that enable better strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager to maintain and update the website, optimizing for SEO and user experience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on HubSpot CRM and other marketing technology platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven 5+ years of growth marketing experience with B2B and SaaS businesses.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • HubSpot certification or equivalent experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Zapier and other automation tools.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques.
