About the position

The Growth Marketing Manager, Paid Social will manage the day-to-day execution of our paid social media initiatives to improve efficiency and help Seed achieve its target KPIs across DTC, Amazon, and Retail distribution channels. This role is pivotal in collaborating closely across the organization with teams such as Creative Strategy, Influencer, Creative, Growth Product, New Channels, and Data to establish and maintain a world-class acquisition program. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Paid Social Media experience at a DTC ecommerce company, specifically managing and scaling campaigns on platforms like Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and analyzing the performance of managed channels on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal performance on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Lifetime Value (LTV). You will manage the budget and pacing to meet monthly spend and volume targets, relocating spend as needed to maximize channel performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with influencer marketing, brand marketing, and other teams across the organization to improve full omnichannel funnel efficiency and related campaigns. Your role will also involve owning all aspects of campaign setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and daily reporting with a hyper focus on CAC efficiency and incrementality. You will partner with relevant stakeholders on audience management to ensure that we are reaching the right users and collaborate with Growth Creative Strategy on creative performance and readouts for internal brand/product teams to develop relevant marketing assets. Staying abreast of trends and innovations across the paid media landscape will be crucial, as you will work with the rest of the Performance team to refine our approach as needed. A background in science communication and knowledge of regulatory aspects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Paid Social Media experience at a DTC ecommerce company.
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns on Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Experience running experiments and utilizing data for actionable decisions.
  • Direct experience with managing whitelisted ad programs and building partnership ads.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing landscape and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and develop insights.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Deep commitment to learning and self-improvement.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and re-prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Attention to detail and organization with a passion for proofreading and QA.
  • Comfortable in a fast-growing startup environment.
