About the position

Join Twilio as a Growth Marketing Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing our marketing programs across the entire customer lifecycle. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams, including Growth Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Analytics, to execute, coordinate, and measure omnichannel campaigns that span email, website, Twilio console, SMS, and in-app channels. Your primary focus will be on creating seamless transitions between lifecycle stages, designing and implementing data-driven experiments, and ensuring a unified customer experience from acquisition to retention. As a Growth Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing marketing programs that encompass acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention. You will coordinate and execute omnichannel campaigns, ensuring that each stage of the customer lifecycle is addressed effectively. Your role will involve designing and implementing best-in-class experiments to test and optimize campaign performance across multiple channels. Collaboration with Marketing Operations will be essential to align strategies and tactics throughout the customer lifecycle, while working closely with the Analytics team to develop and launch data-driven programs that leverage Twilio Segment and other data products to enhance marketing efforts. Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will use data-driven insights to improve outcomes and drive success. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in growth marketing, particularly in a SaaS environment, who is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and driving engagement through innovative marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize marketing programs across the entire customer lifecycle, including acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention.
  • Coordinate and execute omnichannel campaigns, including email, website, Twilio console, SMS, and in-app channels.
  • Ensure seamless transitions between different stages of the customer lifecycle to create a smooth and unified customer journey.
  • Design and implement best-in-class experiments to test and optimize campaign performance across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Operations to align strategies and tactics throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Work with the Analytics team to develop and launch data-driven programs, leveraging Twilio Segment and other data products to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to improve outcomes and drive success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in growth marketing function, with a focus on program management in a SaaS organization.
  • Prior experience with Marketo is essential, and experience with Twilio Segment or a reverse ETL platform is highly advantageous.
  • Strong expertise in designing and executing omnichannel marketing programs across various channels.
  • Proven ability to set up and manage complex, cross-channel marketing campaigns that utilize data/event triggers to drive customer engagement and retention.
  • Excellent understanding of customer lifecycle stages and the ability to create seamless transitions between them.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to leverage data to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with experience collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce, SQL, Looker/Tableau experience
  • Technical background with ability to self-serve analytics, understand KPIs and experiment reports
  • Past experience with Sendgrid or a similar Email API platform is a good qualification.
  • Prior experience in Growth marketing and lifecycle functions in a SaaS setup (preferably with B2C orientation) will be given preference.
