About the position

As the Growth Product Manager at Stepful, you will be responsible for designing data-driven product experiences that enhance student success throughout their educational journey. This role focuses on scaling growth initiatives from program discovery to enrollment and graduation, ensuring that all efforts align with the mission of creating successful career paths for students, particularly those from underrepresented communities.

Responsibilities

• Drive organic growth via referral programs and conversion rate experiments
• Develop and refine product features that encourage user engagement with new programs
• Understand student needs and represent their voice across the team
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, data, and growth teams to innovate and implement quickly
• Communicate product roadmap and vision effectively, managing priorities and trade-offs

Requirements

• 3+ years of consumer-facing growth product management experience
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, engineering, economics)
• Proven track record of driving organic growth through product experiments and initiatives
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization
• Strong communication skills to relay insights and influence decisions
• Ability to build relationships and influence across various team levels
• Hands-on approach with a bias to action and decision-making among competing priorities

Nice-to-haves

• Previous startup experience, especially in B2B2C or B2C EdTech/Healthcare
• Understanding of software development technical aspects (e.g., familiarity with GitHub)
• Experience with Marketing Attribution and data tracking integration
