About the position

As a Growth Video Editor at Ruggable, you'll play a crucial role within our creative team, contributing to the production of performance-driven content that gets clicks and drives purchases on paid social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, and Youtube). You'll function as a creative and a performance marketing professional in a high-volume, fast-paced video testing environment, developing a deep understanding of creative analytics and the factors that influence ad performance. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office spent in video editing sprints, where you'll optimize video assets for individual social media platforms while experimenting with new approaches based on current trends. You'll edit ads from various sources, including influencers and main campaign shoots, and create motion graphics that align with our brand identity and messaging. Additionally, this role emphasizes testing and analyzing ad performance, collaborating closely with the creative and paid media teams to optimize content based on data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Edit creative digital advertising content for social media platforms, specifically Meta and TikTok
  • Align with stakeholders on objectives and ensure edits are executed based on performance goals
  • Create iterative video ads and motion graphic assets to test new marketing approaches
  • Collaborate with our Growth Team and Content Producer to create new experimental video ads on a weekly basis
  • Thoroughly review completed videos to ensure high quality and brand guide alignment
  • Learn and follow video-testing models, implementing learnings and feedback from Growth Team meetings and performance analysis

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience
  • High attention to detail ensuring that all work maintains a level of quality and technical accuracy
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere and After Effects with a design eye to create motion graphic assets
  • Knowledge and interest in social media trends and associated marketing strategies
  • A great collaborator who can work with multiple stakeholders
  • An eagerness to grow as a marketing professional

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Frame.io or similar review platform
  • Familiarity with Louper.io or similar streaming platform
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Ecosystem (specifically Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with other editing platforms, such as Capcut
  • Knowledge of marketing/advertising metrics and KPIs
