About the position

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor at Pinkerton is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the GSOC, ensuring effective security monitoring and threat mitigation for one of Pinkerton's largest global clients. This role involves supervising GSOC Analysts, managing communications during emergencies, and producing analytical reports to assess security effectiveness. The supervisor will also monitor geopolitical events and open-source intelligence to identify potential threats, while supporting various security programs and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the GSOC, including emergency communications and internal alarm monitoring.
  • Manage rapid communication with employees and stakeholders during incidents.
  • Produce analytical reports from access control systems to assess security effectiveness.
  • Monitor geopolitical events impacting executive travel and company operations.
  • Conduct intelligence gathering from open-source platforms for known and potential threats.
  • Research and report on global security issues including terrorism and natural disasters.
  • Support insider threat and business continuity programs, and communicate with the Physical Security Threat Analyst team.
  • Collect and validate intelligence, assessing the credibility of open-source information.
  • Communicate with senior security management regarding employee welfare and operational issues.
  • Supervise incident identification, investigation, and case management involving partnership organizations.
  • Provide actionable intelligence to operators and business decision makers.
  • Evaluate performance of team members and coordinate training and coaching.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least five years of experience in GSOC, law enforcement, or military functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of security system applications and integration.
  • Strong understanding of confidential business information and critical asset protection.
  • Knowledge of investigative processes and intelligence collection.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
