About the position

The GTM Specialist Solutions Architect role at AWS focuses on driving customer success by leveraging AWS services, particularly in Efficient Compute, to solve complex business challenges. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop go-to-market strategies, providing technical insights, and acting as a thought leader in the cloud computing space. The role emphasizes customer feedback, technical expertise, and the ability to innovate and expand AWS's service adoption across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer and collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
• Lead curation of custom feature and availability requests for unique customer use cases.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to aligned GTM teams to unblock customers' largest business challenges.
• Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards with the extended team.
• Collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing for local technical events and campaigns.
• Act as a thought leader by sharing best practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.
• Guide and support an internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to customers and create field enablement materials.

Requirements

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
