About the position

The GTS IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing on-site and on-call support for hardware devices throughout their lifecycle at the Maryland location. This role involves executing Sox Controls, advising management and end users to ensure equipment runs successfully, training employees on software and computer systems, and focusing on continuous improvement within the IT support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site/on-call support for hardware devices throughout their lifecycle
• Execute Sox Controls
• Take an advisor role when working with management and end users to ensure equipment runs successfully
• Train employees on software and computer systems through group presentations, 1:1 trainings, and onboarding
• Act as a continuous improvement specialist

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes
• 3 years' experience performing software installs and updates
• 3 years' experience with routine troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of Information and communication tech infrastructure
