About the position

The Guest Care Specialist is a full-time or part-time role responsible for providing exceptional guest service in an automotive repair environment. This position acts as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager and is crucial in driving sales of automotive services and tires. The specialist engages with guests, schedules appointments, and ensures a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete Monro's training program to execute the Monro selling process.
• Serve as the first point of contact for guests, engaging them and scheduling appointments.
• Organize and manage service business through estimate and invoice transactions.
• Assist in guest care, work order completion, and register assistance under management direction.
• Handle basic and detailed opening and closing responsibilities as a secondary key carrier.
• Follow cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies.
• Address guest service issues and complaints in collaboration with management.
• Communicate effectively all products and services offered by Monro.
• Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety protocols.
• Maintain an organized and neat guest waiting area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• One year of sales experience required.
• Strong verbal communication skills for writing sales work orders and explaining services.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
