About the position

The Guest Coordinator at Ulta Beauty is responsible for engaging with guests and promoting the services offered by the store. This role involves one-on-one interactions with guests both in-person and over the phone, representing the brand's image and culture. The Guest Coordinator supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager by focusing on performance, guest service, and compliance with operating procedures. A passion for the beauty industry and exceptional customer service skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests to promote Ulta Beauty services through in-person and phone interactions.
  • Provide exceptional guest service in the Salon, Haircare, and Skincare areas.
  • Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
  • Manage salon phone calls and resolve guest concerns effectively.
  • Book appointments and manage the services booking system and guest records.
  • Inform guests of current promotions and confidently invite them to try services.
  • Support service providers in executing daily appointment pages and rebooking.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
  • Demonstrated competency in sales, products, and services.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or as part of a team.
