About The Position

The Guest Coordinator at Ulta Beauty plays a vital role in engaging with guests and promoting salon services through direct interactions, both in-person and over the phone. This position is focused on delivering exceptional guest service, supporting the services team, and contributing to the overall performance of the store. Requirements

  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system, Apple devices, Services Booking System).
  • Demonstrate significant competency in sales, products, and service.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging all Ulta Beauty guests and offering friendly, prompt, and courteous service.
  • Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
  • Support the services team by managing salon phone calls, resolving guest concerns, and managing the services booking system.
  • Inform guests of current promotions and events, inviting them to try services while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Influence service providers in executing daily appointment pages and new guest acquisition behaviors.
  • Book appointments and support the execution of services and in-store events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
  • Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates and guests.
  • Develop guest relationships through interactions and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business and support guest experience.
  • Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program with guests.
  • Attend mandatory trainings and meetings for professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies and procedures.
  • Support the services team in following safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Utilize scheduling tools to recommend schedule adjustments for maximizing results.
  • Communicate supply needs to ensure guest-readiness at all times.
  • Maintain outstanding store operational standards and cleanliness.
  • Follow loss prevention best practices.
