About the position

The Guest Experience Expert is responsible for managing daily front office operations in a luxury hotel setting. This role involves checking in and out guests, overseeing reservations, and serving as the primary point of contact for hotel visitors. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing superior guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Selling guest rooms and processing room reservations.
  • Checking guests in and out.
  • Providing local area information, events, and attractions to guests.
  • Processing guest accounts, including postings charges and payments, and settling folios.
  • Receiving and distributing guest mail, messages, emails, and faxes.
  • Handling guest requests and complaints.
  • Following all security procedures to ensure the safety of all guests, employees, and property.
  • Generating and reviewing reports, taking necessary action as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of front-office experience.
  • Excellent people skills and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient computer skills, experience with PMS software is a plus.
