About the position

The Guest Experience Lead at lululemon is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive a high-quality in-store experience. This role involves overseeing technical product education, driving store performance, and leading the team to achieve sales targets. The Guest Experience Lead is part of the store leadership team and plays a crucial role in guest engagement and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the lululemon guest experience framework to establish an exceptional and inclusive guest experience.
  • Continuously assess guest connection and provide technical product education to every guest.
  • Act as Supervisor on Duty to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
  • Conduct preparation activities to ensure in-store readiness and maintain operational excellence.
  • Open and close the store according to procedures.
  • Review daily business data and metrics to track sales goals and motivate the team.
  • Participate in the store's hiring process, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Provide feedback and support team member performance and development.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.

Requirements

  • 1 year of retail or customer experience, including guest resolution and navigating difficult conversations.
  • Some experience in leading, mentoring, or delegating with others.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • 1 year of retail/sales leadership experience, such as leading delegated tasks or mentoring peers.
  • Food safety and/or liquor service certification for experiential stores with food/beverage service.
