About the position

The Guest Experience Lead at Lululemon is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive a high-quality in-store experience. This role involves overseeing technical product education, driving store performance through guest engagement, and supporting team achievement of sales targets. The Guest Experience Lead is part of the store leadership team and plays a crucial role in mentoring team members and maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the lululemon guest experience framework to create an exceptional and inclusive environment.
  • Continuously assess guest connection and provide technical product education to ensure all guests receive assistance as needed.
  • Act as Supervisor on Duty, dynamically leading from the floor to meet business, team, and guest needs.
  • Prepare the store for guest readiness and maintain operational excellence throughout the shift.
  • Open and close the store according to established procedures.
  • Review daily business data and metrics to track sales progress and motivate the team to achieve business results.
  • Participate in the store's hiring process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members.
  • Support team member performance through feedback, coaching, and recognition, fostering ongoing learning and development.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by engaging with team members and creating a fun workplace.

Requirements

  • 1 year of retail or customer experience, including guest resolution and navigating difficult conversations.
  • Some experience in leading, mentoring, or delegating tasks to others.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
  • 1 year of retail/sales leadership experience, such as leading delegated assignments or mentoring peers.
  • Food safety and/or liquor service certification for experiential stores with food/beverage service.
