About the position

The Guest Experience Specialist Agent at Columbia Hospitality Inc. is responsible for creating exceptional experiences for guests by assisting them with hotel, dining, and spa reservations. This role emphasizes the use of sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue, while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate PBX equipment by answering incoming calls and assisting with outgoing calls.
  • Respond to emails and chat inquiries from guests.
  • Assist guests in making reservations for lodging, dining, and spa services.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote room upgrades and hotel services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
  • Keep accurate records of reservations and messages.
  • Assist fellow team members in the Front Office, Spa, and Dining as needed.
  • Work a rotating schedule based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous PBX/multi-line phone experience in hospitality strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
