About the position

The Guest Room Attendant at La Quinta Inns & Suites is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms in accordance with company standards. This role focuses on ensuring guest satisfaction through quality cleaning, safety, and security protocols while working a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to company standards for quality and cleanliness.
• Stock supply cart and ensure proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, emptying trash, and dusting surfaces.
• Clean guest bathrooms, including fixtures, floors, and mirrors.
• Inspect rooms for functioning amenities and report any maintenance needs.
• Report room status to the Housekeeping Supervisor and front desk.
• Achieve productivity goals in time management for cleaning rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Follow safety and security policies while performing cleaning duties.
• Respond to guest requests for supplies and maintain a friendly demeanor.

Requirements

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
• General knowledge of cleaning chemicals preferred.
