About the position

The Guest Service Agent at Sofitel Philadelphia Hotel is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a luxury environment. This role involves welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring a memorable stay through personalized service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of delivering luxury service while managing cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a luxury environment.
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and guest inquiries.
  • Take food and beverage room service orders.
  • Assist with guest requests and enroll guests in the ALL frequent guest program.
  • Deliver hand-tailored experiences to ensure a memorable stay.
  • Manage a cash bank and follow cash handling procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar position or a hotel school degree.
  • Experience with OPERA is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to deliver luxury service and go above and beyond.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are preferred.
