About the position
The Guest Service Associate/Cashier (GSA) at Global Partners is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing store-level tasks. This role emphasizes a guest-first mentality, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficient service. The GSA will engage with customers, maintain store operations, and support the overall mission of Global Partners to provide energy solutions and community support.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
- Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
- Operate the point of sale and maintain proper cash levels.
- Complete store housekeeping functions such as cleaning and replenishing supplies.
- Communicate with management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
- Check in vendors per established guidelines.
- Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to accurately count, read, and write for paperwork.
