About the position

The Guest Service Associate/Cashier (GSA) at Global Partners LP is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while managing various store-level tasks. This role emphasizes a guest-first mentality, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued during their shopping experience. The GSA will also adhere to safety and operational policies while maintaining store cleanliness and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
  • Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
  • Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
  • Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
  • Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
  • Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
  • Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (e.g., outside, cooler, etc.).
  • Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
