About the position
The F&B and Event Service Expert is responsible for creating memorable experiences for guests during events and banquets. This role involves a variety of tasks including setting up event spaces, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the guest's experience. The position requires adherence to safety and security policies, maintaining a professional appearance, and fostering positive relationships with guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Set up tables and event materials for functions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other staff.
- Interact with and serve guests during events.
- Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions to management.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Protect company assets.
- Support team goals and develop positive working relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
