About the position

The Guest Services Associate at Meow Wolf serves as the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them to an immersive art experience. This role involves engaging with visitors, providing information about ticketing and events, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment throughout their visit. The associate embodies the values of creativity, inclusion, and exceptional customer service, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide information about ticketing, upcoming events, and Meow Wolf history.
  • Monitor crowds and assist with crowd control to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Process ticketing and merchandise transactions.
  • Monitor objects and props within the exhibition to ensure proper placement and functionality.
  • Provide guests with information about the interactive experience, narrative, and contributing artists.
  • Create and maintain a pleasant environment for guests by collaborating with other team members to keep the exhibition clean and organized.
  • Respond to injuries and emergencies appropriately, including reporting incidents to the manager on duty.
  • Communicate with others to exchange information.
  • Embody Meow Wolf customer service expectations to enhance guest's experience.
  • Learn and operate ticketing and point of sale systems.
  • Follow and enforce safety rules.
  • Maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Fulfill other duties as required or directed by management.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.
  • Prior work experience in high-volume, guest-facing spaces such as retail, museums, theme parks, or recreation facilities.
  • Strong service skills and welcoming demeanor.
  • Adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Prior experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Bilingual preferred, especially but not limited to English and Spanish.
