About the position

The Guest Service Representative at O'Reilly Hospitality Management LLC is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in and check-out process. This role involves managing guest inquiries, processing reservations, and maintaining accurate records of room availability and guest accounts. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to company policies, contributing to a positive guest experience and supporting the overall operations of the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
  • Register and assign rooms to guests.
  • Issue room keys and provide instructions to guests or bell staff.
  • Transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard.
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, registration, and local attractions.
  • Maintain records of room availability and guests' accounts.
  • Compute bills and collect payments from guests.
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations for guests as needed.
  • Post charges for room, food, and other services.
  • Deposit guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box.
  • Understand and enforce hotel credit policies.
  • Account for all cash and make deposits according to company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments.
  • Report to work on time and in uniform as per company policy.
  • Embrace company culture and values, including health and wellness initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Customer service experience in hospitality preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with relevant brand-specific PMS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hospitality customer service experience preferred.
