About the position

The Guest Service Specialist at Juut Salonspa is responsible for providing an elevated customer experience to all guests while performing front desk duties in line with the salon's service standards. This role involves greeting guests, managing appointments, and ensuring a positive atmosphere that aligns with Juut's Daymaker philosophy. The position offers opportunities for career growth through various levels of training and mastery of key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide appropriate welcome for new or returning guests.
• Check-in guests and give salon tours to new Juut guests.
• Escort guests to waiting areas, hang up coats, and offer beverages.
• Perform confirmation calls to guests and suggest add-on services during calls.
• Check out guests by ringing service tickets and closing out sales of retail products.
• Answer incoming guest calls and book appointments with the appropriate artist or therapist.
• Make follow-up calls to new guests within 24 hours of their visit.
• Stock retail shelves and clean them regularly.
• Monitor and refill beverage station items and keep the area clean.
• Organize magazines throughout the salon for easy access by guests.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Attend all training, education, and meetings as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some exposure to salon, cosmetics, hospitality, or retail business preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a salon or retail environment.
• Familiarity with beauty products and services.
