About the position

The Guest Services Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable, safe, and healthy environment for guests at the recuperative care facility. This role involves ensuring safety and security, conducting inspections, performing guest intake, and engaging with guests to enhance their experience. The associate will also assist with various operational tasks and maintain accurate records while modeling a positive professional image.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and security of the recuperative care facility.
  • Conduct daily facility and equipment inspections.
  • Perform guest intake responsibilities, providing orientation on program guidelines.
  • Develop rapport with guests and gather feedback.
  • Create and implement engagement activities for guests.
  • Attend to guest requests and assist with appointments.
  • Maintain bed availability and documentation accurately.
  • Assist with supplies inventory check and log.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping including daily shift notes and incident reports.
  • Respond to guest concerns with positive interventions.
  • Attend meetings and training relevant to the role.
  • Perform laundry, clothing requests, and mealtime duties.
  • Adapt to schedule changes and work additional shifts as needed.
  • Model a positive professional image and adhere to dress code.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years caregiver experience in a Healthcare or Recuperative Care environment (preferred).
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valid CA driver's license.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, guests, and visitors.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
