Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clinical teams with patient navigation and customer service upon patient arrival.
  • Provide wayfinding assistance and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Oversee entrances and maintain designated areas and equipment, addressing customer service issues.
  • Support clinical teams with efficient patient flow and visitation.
  • Establish rapport with patients and families through proactive daily rounds.
  • Communicate procedural schedules and safety protocols to patients and visitors.
  • Collaborate with patient relations to document and investigate complaints.
  • Cross-train with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize technology to communicate with clinical teams and patients.
  • Encourage participation in patient satisfaction surveys.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in customer service and/or healthcare environment.
  • Experience working directly with patients and clinical teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Valid CPR certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with telecommunication skills and multi-line phone systems.
  • Knowledge of customer databases and scheduling systems.
